Digivisio action plan published for 2025

This year’s action plan has now been published. Read more about it below.

In 2025, the Digivisio 2030 project will centre around the successful launch of the Opin.fi service, without forgetting the further development of the service. In addition, the project priorities include long-term solutions for improving data capabilities and interoperability both nationally and internationally and utilising the Digivisio platform and business services in value stream solutions for degree studies.

Key objectives of Digivisio for 2025:

  1. The Opin.fi service is successfully launched and includes studies from all the higher education institutions involved in the project. The most important corrections are implemented in the service based on feedback.
  2. Cooperation between higher education institutions, efficiency and flexibility in degree studies are supported by the Digivisio platform solutions.
  3. Developing data quality and interoperability enables the wider utilisation of the Digivisio platform and the implementation of the HEDS/HEDI interface model.
  4. The European interoperability concept is completed, and EU funding has been received for its implementation.
  5. Efficient cooperation structures during production have become established between higher education institutions, project offices and HigherEd Hub Finland Ltd.

“Once again, it’s going to be a really interesting year. The launch of the Opin.fi service will be a shared and visible effort. It’s great that we are at this stage of the project!” says Project Director Hanna Nordlund, summarising the start of the year.

While the focus is on the launch, plans for the next phase of the project are well underway.

“Refining the plans requires a lot of joint discussion with higher education institutions and partners. It’s inspiring and important to examine the common target scenario when discussing the role of the Digivisio 2030 project in degree studies.

Interoperability is a key theme in the current European debate, and the work we have done so far in the project to promote interoperability lays the foundation also for European cooperation,” Nordlund continues.

The action plan for 2025 was approved by the General Assembly in November 2025.
