Digivisio 2030 progresses towards implementation, first pilot organisations selected

Digivisio 2030 is progressing towards the implementation of the first services. The services are developed with a close co-creation model between higher education institutions. The basic principle is that the solutions will be implemented to a limited extent in the pilot higher education institutions before extensive production use. In addition to experimenting with and developing technical implementation, the aim of the piloting is to promote qualitative development and operational change.

The first pilots will begin in the autumn of 2022, and they will be implemented around two different themes:

The User-centred Identity Management Solution pilot

  • user-centred identity
  • identification in services
  • linking to the higher education institution identity

The Continuous and Flexible Learning Tray: Other Education Offered by Higher Education Institutions pilot

  • Identification and packaging of non-formal education as a form of service for continuous learning
  • Describing and presenting information in a joint information platform
  • Taking the pedagogical perspective into account

The aim is to carry out piloting in various higher education institution environments so that the experience and feedback generated by the pilots will be versatile.

The first pilots will be implemented in the following higher education institutions:

  • User-centred Identity Management Solution: Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, Vaasa University of Applied Sciences, University of Helsinki, Tampere University Foundation
  • Continuous and Flexible Learning Tray: Other Education Offered by Higher Education Institutions: Savonia University of Applied Sciences, South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, Humak University of Applied Sciences, Aalto University

The pilots have monitoring groups through which all higher education institutions can monitor the progress and influence the development work.

In the future, our society will need increasingly diverse expertise. In the Digivisio 2030 project, Finland’s higher education institutions are together building the sustainable competence ecosystem of the future – a place where each of us can learn more easily and flexibly, thus accumulating the needed expertise for a constantly changing world.
