The world is changing faster than ever before. People’s expectations and ways of acting are changing fast.
The competition for experts is getting tougher. In working life, there is a constant need to adopt new skills. Learning and expertise will take forms that we are not yet able to imagine.
We do know, however, that the future will not be built just by solving today’s problems or by looking on while others show the way.
We must have the courage to build the future ourselves.
Digivisio’s goal is that continuous learning and the supplementing of competence will be a natural part of our society in 2030.

The vision for the future of e-learning
What kind of pedagogy and e-learning the future of learning requires?
Pedagogy and online learning lives and develops constantly and therefore we need a common vision for its development within the framework of the Digivisio 2030 programme.
The vision of e-learning boils down to the fact that the world’s best e-learning is meaningful and functional, as it
- evolves with time,
- builds on everyday life and
- meets the needs of different learners.
From the learners’ perspective, high-quality pedagogy evolves with the changes the world sees and removes obstacles from the learning path.
In the future, e-learning will be seen as a seamless part of higher education pedagogy, and teachers will be offered more extensive support in everyday life compared to the current situation.
The world’s best e-learning develops when pedagogical experts meet each other, which means that e-learning is developed in cooperation between higher education institutions and experts.

Data, education and competence circulate in the learning ecosystem
Digivisio’s goal is to create an internationally esteemed learning ecosystem that is initially based on Digivisio’s digital services, the joint study offering of higher education institutions and interaction with society. Data, education and competence circulate in the ecosystem.
Through the digital services of the ecosystem, lifelong learners can flexibly and continuously complete studies that meet their individual needs across the boundaries of higher education institutions and develop their competence through an open course offering.
Learners’ data is utilised across institutional boundaries, although learners have the final say on how their data is shared.
Our aim is to ensure long-term development and to also create the preconditions for future service development. Solutions are created openly in order to integrate them with other existing services and interfaces.
