I am responsible for communication and engagement as a whole in Digivisio. The goal of our communication is to provide comprehensible and inspiring information about Digivisio and the journey towards our common vision in 2030. In the field of engagement, we wish to involve the project’s large stakeholders in resolving the issues of future learning with us. Successful communication and engagement play an important role in promoting Digivisio. This creates personal significance and motivation for me in my work!
I joined Digivisio in January 2020. The common denominator of my previous work history is major projects of change, the development of digital services, and communication and marketing. Most recently, I led the communications and marketing of DigiFinland Oy and was also responsible for the Omaolo.fi service as a whole.
In addition to the actual substance of this work, what is important for me is people and the working environment. It is excellent that Digivisio is being implemented in all Finnish higher education institutions and, for example, that communication is promoted with the designated contact persons for communications at all higher education institutions. Different perspectives and approaches make this work interesting!
My personal learning challenge at the moment is becoming more fluent in Swedish. All Swedish-speaking higher education institutions in Finland are also involved in the Digivisio work, and Swedish plays a large part in communication. This is why I challenge everyone to speak Swedish with me.
